"Diagnosis Trauma" the award-winning short film by writer/director Mike
Nirenberg has been making the rounds on the festival circuit and has
garnered rave reviews.

"Diagnosis Trauma" was produced by Lane Roberts, who worked with the Academy Award Nominated director John Hancock on the film “Suspended Animation,” and co-produced & edited by Joe Otting, a top 4 finalist in Project Greenlight. Otting is also slated to direct “Prisoner” for Splendid Pictures and his film “The Third Rail” played at Cannes in 2001.

The film features the talents of Cynthia Von Orthal (A League of Their Own), Cedric Young (Backdraft), Karol Kent (Novocaine) and . "Diagnosis Trauma" is a dark comedy that explores patient anxiety, and through a surprise ending, shows that the fear of seeing the doctor truly is universal. Nirenberg describes "Diagnosis Trauma" as, “the anti-E.R., anti-Marcus Welby, anti-General Hospital film.”

Since it's launch in early 2003, "Diagnosis Trauma" is receiving rave reviews and the team is currently beginning work on his feature film The Dim Distant Past.
